MAURITIUS MARINE LIFE PUBLIC AQUARIUM

The only Aquarium on the island gets you up close and personal to the marine world of our shores. Sharks, Sea turtles and Giant Moray eels surrounded by a multitude of colors, shapes and patterns will inspire the imagination.

The Aquarium is a private educational attraction funded by the Bouquet Family of Mauritius. Visitors can enjoy the splendor of the marine life of Mauritius within a garden promenade boasting a variety of local flora. All the specimens on display are solely from the waters of Mauritius, which include freshwater and marine species. Our feeding and interactive chat* is at 11am and 3pm daily.

The ABC Courtyard is at your disposal to find a souvenir of your visit, or a gift for someone back home at our Boutique, whilst relaxing with some refreshments at the Aquarium café.  Our local and international visitors who may have, or have not had the opportunity to put their heads below the water, have given us many positive comments.

We hope to expand the aquarium in the future and are becoming one of the highlights of educational attractions in Mauritius.
